So....some of you know us in world and already know this but its time for me to explain here. Talya and I are part of what's known as a dissociative system. We have Dissociative Identity disorder, which at one time was called multiple personality disorder. Yeah, the Sybil thing. We went through some shit in our younger years RL and it messed us up a bit. ANYWAY. The personality that was Talya has kinda tired of SL (and RL for that matter. She had a rough year.) and I'm getting really into being a teen somewhere other than just our head, so Talya handed over the reigns to me. After all I'm sort of a splinter of her. If that makes any sense?

So who am I? I'm Sophie Louise Wirefly Teghran. I'm 14ish. I'm a bit of a tomboy but I like girly stuff sometimes too. I'm a nerd. I'm a Supernatural Fangirl. Well, kinda SuperWhoLock if you understand that you're my kind of people. Also...Marvel > DC any day (a damn shame Aquaman is DC cuz Jason Mamoa...)

I am a DCOM Fanatic so don't be surprised if you hear me singing Disney stuff from time to time, or catch me blasting music while I work at the center. Zombies, Descendants, Teen Beach Movie. I love them, I can't help it. I kinda wish I was Addison...or one of the wolves! Or Evie or Mal!

A lot has happened but things are going great! There've been a few changes in who -I- Am--long story! I've really gotten back to the roots of my teen days. I no longer attend EVHS nor am I fighting to attend anymore. I am thinking about checking out Focus Point but I haven't decided yet.

I keep myself busy helping to run the Bri Slimmer Memorial Teen Center and Auntie Ash Adoption Agency, an adoption center focusing on teens and tweens. BSTC offers classes, support groups, game nights, field trips, all sorts of stuff for the teen and tweens. The dress code is relaxed and fair (Bare midriffs allowed but all the important stuff MUST be fully covered.)

After I get done with this post I'll go update my what I'm wearing. Lots of changes with BOM starting--I'm actually wearing an older skin that happened to look good with my head when I BOMed it! Have a few outfits to show off that I've gotten over the last few months, though I think I'll save the fall, winter, and holiday stuff for this coming year.

Apologies--RL is a Pain in the Abdomen

Yeah I know I've been slacking. One of my lovely RL health conditions has been causing a lot of trouble and I am undergoing surgery for it on Tuesday July 2nd. Long story short, ovaries can grow back if the surgeon misses a little tissue. Its rare, and even rarer for BOTH to grow back, but hey weird and unusual seems to just be part of who I am.

To avoid missing tissue this round, the new surgeon has determined that laproscopic surgery is not an option so I'm having a laprotamy. Basically my whole abdomen is getting cut open and my guts are getting taken out so they can make absolutely sure to get all of the ovarian tissue. The bad thing is I'm SEVERELY overweight and have other health issues so this is going to be a bit risky and my primary health issue (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Hypermobility Type) makes healing a bit of a bitch (pardon my language) so what is an average 6 week recovery time may well be 4 to 6 months for me.

Needless to say, I'm nervous as all hell and having trouble sleeping thanks to the nightmares my anxiety is giving me. I'm very lucky that I have an amazing support network of friends and adopted family.

I was babysitting my little cousin Kaitlyn this afternoon so I decided to take her, and my own little one Isabelle, out for a picnic snack by the pond. Our muffins attracted more babies but the girls were thrilled to let these little ones have them!

Apologies for my Delay

I needed to take a couple days (And shopping sprees) to process all the craziness that was Monday evening. As a result I've not done a LotD this week. Also as a result of the craziness and a couple other things, I'm in a flare that appears to be a double EDS and Crohns flare. Soooo yeah I've been offline more than on and very brainfogged.

There will be updates in the next couple days. I've got a couple outfits I definitely want to do and I'm hoping to show off some of the little zoobys I'll be babysitting! With their parents' permission, of course! Also right after I update this I'll be updating my skin and head on my base body post, as I've changed my look a bit.
